Mary Fox Luquette currently is on the faculty of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Luquette holds three post-graduate degrees/designations: a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLUB) and Charter Financial Consultant (ChFC). She has displayed expertise in many areas of academia
and teaches various courses in Finance, Insurance, and Risk Management. She has developed an interest in the area of contracts (legal, insurance, financial and investment), where she has expanded her specialization to include a broad familiarity with the Louisiana Civil Code. She also is a notary public. Luquette also writes a regular business sense column for The Acadian, where she delves into real-world money matters for the average person.
